Los alumnos aprenderán canciones y rimas relacionadas a las vocales. Desarrollarán juegos y actividades que les permitirán enriquecer y fortalecer el área del lenguaje.

Los alumnos aprenderán las letras C y D en canciones y rimas. Iniciarán el reconocimiento de las letras a través de juegos y actividades que les permitirán enriquecer y fortalecer el área del lenguaje.  Repasarán las letras A y B con su vocabulario.

Kinder

La clase de kínder esta semana tendrá un repaso general de letras y sílabas junto con las vocales. Unirán sílabas para formar palabras iniciando así el proceso de aprender a leer y escribir en español. Realizarán juegos y actividades que les permitirán practicar la lectura y escritura de sílabas, palabras y oraciones.

Leerán palabras y oraciones

Conocerán acerca del autor de libros infantiles Dr. Seuss y sus hermosos libros. Escucharán el cuento Huevos verdes con jamón  e identificarán la idea principal del cuento y sus personajes.

Realizarán actividades manuales con el cuento

Escritura

Escribirán palabras y oraciones usando las imágenes

Los alumnos llevarán tarea a casa el día miércoles 9 de marzo de 2016.

LICE – We once again have several cases of lice at school. Lice are common in all schools this time of year and there is no reason for shame. Parental cooperation is crucial in effectively eradicating this small epidemic. The school nurse will check students for lice, and a student will be able to come back to school once there are no more lice/nits on the student and has been cleared by our school nurse. Please help us by sending your child back to school once you have gotten treated the problem, and please understand that the measures we take are to ensure the well-being of our students. 

PRESENTATION FOR PARENTS - We cordially invite all DS school parents to attend a presentation that will be given by the Lic. Manuel Morales on the topic “The Four Types of Parents”. This presentation will take place on Thursday, March 10, at 12:00 p.m., in the Conference Room. The school will be providing some refreshments. We hope you will be able to attend!

III QUARTER REPORT CARDS AND CONFERENCES - Report cards will be sent home with your child on Friday, March 18, if there is no need for a conference. An email will be sent home if you need to come to school and meet with your child’s teacher(s). Parent teacher conferences will be held that same Friday, March 18 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. We strongly advise you to come to school and meet with your child's teachers.

SENIORS BAKE SALE – The Seniors will be having a Bake Sale this coming Friday, March 11. Goodies will be sold during snack and lunch. Do not forget to bring money!

NUESTROS PEQUEÑOS HERMANOS BAKE SALE – NPH (the school’s community service club) will be having a bake sale on Friday, April 1. Delicious baked goods will be sold during snack and lunch. Do not forget to bring money.
